1977 born in Baghdad.

1991 completion of junior high school education.

1992 beginning of the study of classical Iraqi and Arabian music at the music institute.

Pupil of well-known musicians, like Rauhi Alkamach, Salim Abul Alkarim, and Sami Nasim. During his study at the music institute participation in music festivals in Baghdad, as the international Babylon festival with the lute orchestra under the conductorship of the famous artist Rauhi Alkamach, and the festival of fine arts in honor of the musician Salman Shukr with the youth orchestra Amasi Al Sharq.

Member of the Nazim Al Ghazali ensemble under the conductorship of artist Najah Abdul Ghafour, a member of the Iraqi Association of Musicians.

Composer of numerous church choir music for churches in Baghdad.

1998 completion of study at the institute.

1999 journey to Germany, to learn the German language and to take up supplementary studies in Leipzig.

Being awarded a certificate for dealing with musical instruments he worked at "City Sound", one of the famous Leipzig fairs of music. After this he took avail of the opportunity to study, and do research work in, a field of western music (jazz) with support by lecturers and students of the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Felix Mendelssohn, i.e. the Felix Mendelssohn academy of music and theatre. This activity gave rise to the idea of combining the classical Iraqi and Arabian music with western jazz into a new type of music pulsated with the spirit of Arabian and western culture.

The Hojazz orchestra was founded with the aim to mix and synchronize the Arabian and the western music. Melodies were created, repeated and expertly presented and well received. In Leipzig 2004, the Hojazz orchestra was elected one of the best youth jazz Band of Germany.

It has taken part in a numerous festival in Germany. A highlight was its participation in the international festival of the lute "Festival der Laute" 2003 in Dresden. The participation in festivals organized internationally for the musical formation and development of the youth provided an opportunity to lecture on the lute and on Arabian music theory at different German schools. image image image image image image image image image image
